Job summary

Sodexo Live! London Stansted Airport Emirates Lounge is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help the chef with food and beverage presentation, ensuring quality and consistency across service. The role offers £13.90 per hour, 4 days a week (2 mornings, 2 afternoons) with days off, and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Assistant experience is a must.
• Highly motivated with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef with the presentation of all food and beverage, ensuring quality and quantity are monitored and displayed to specification.
• Follow Emirates food ratio guidelines where applicable.
• Maintain and replenish buffet and stock levels for a la carte service; monitor hygiene per standards.
• Ensure products are date coded, stock rotated and labelled using shelf life rules.
• Prepare sufficient preparation for the following shift.

Package Description

• £13.90 per hour
• 4 days - 2 mornings, 2 afternoons, and 2 days off.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the chef with the presentation of all food and beverage, ensuring quality, quantity are consistently monitored, maintained and display is as per set specification.
• Where possible if introduced follow food ratio guidelines set out by emirates are followed.
• Ensure buffet and stock levels of all food and beverage items for a la carte service are properly maintained and replenished regularly as required and in accordance with food and safety standards. Control and monitor hygiene standards as per HACCAP.
• Ensure that all products stored or displayed are date coded, stock rotated and labelled correctly using the shelf life rule.
• Ensure that sufficient preparation is completed for the following shift.
