Job summary

Sodexo Live! in Greater London is hiring a casual Kitchen Porter to maintain cleanliness across back and front of house and storage areas. You will clean and maintain kitchen equipment to maximize efficiency and prolong life, and ensure deliveries meet Sodexo standards and safety requirements.

The role requires at least 1 year in a similar retail café setting, a hardworking attitude, and the ability to lead a small team of porters while maintaining high cleaning and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of back of house, front of house and storage areas at all times.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment to maximize efficiency and longevity.
• Accept deliveries to Sodexo standards and ensure stock meets company and legal standards.
• Assist in accurate record keeping, security and safe storage of deliveries.

What you'll do

• Ensure the cleanliness standards and presentation of the back of house, front of house and all storage areas are excellent at all times

• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment to maximize efficiency & prolong life
• Accept all deliveries to Sodexo standards and to ensure that all stock meets both company and legal standards, as set out by the kitchen management team
• Assist in accurate record keeping, security and safe storage of all relevant deliveries
