Job summary

The Imperial London Hotels Limited is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team in Bloomsbury, London. You’ll operate dishwashers, maintain cleanliness, support stock movements and assist with deliveries in a vibrant hotel environment.

You should have at least 1 year of kitchen porter experience, basic English, and the ability to follow instructions. Various training and development opportunities are available, along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Porter.
• Basic English communication (CEFR A1).
• Able to follow instructions, work safely and stay organised.
• Bonus: Level 2 Food Safety, COSHH training, hotel kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers and cleaning equipment to maintain spotless plates, cutlery and kitchen tools.
• Clean appliances, work surfaces and non-food contact areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support stock storage, deliveries and yard maintenance.
• Follow food safety procedures and maintain excellent personal hygiene.
• Use chemicals, detergents and sanitising products safely and correctly (training provided).
• Assist kitchen staff and drivers with internal deliveries when needed.
• Attend required kitchen and food safety training.

40 hours a week (5 days out of 7 days weekly rota)

About The Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hard‑working Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, supporting the kitchen team and ensuring a safe, efficient working environment. No two days are the same. You'll work in a vibrant, bustling kitchen where creativity and teamwork are essential to success.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team that ensures every dish is prepared to perfection, creating meals that captivate every guest. Nestled opposite the picturesque Russell Square Gardens in the vibrant heart of Bloomsbury, London. The Imperial Hotel has 357 rooms, multiple dining venues, a workout studio, and destination rooftop bar, bang in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.

What You’ll Be Doing
