Sodexo Live! at Emirates Lounge Gatwick Airport is hiring a Kitchen Porter. You’ll join a team delivering exceptional hospitality at high-profile venues, ensuring cleanliness and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

We’re seeking someone with prior kitchen porter experience, excellent customer service and a flexible, can-do mindset. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential to thrive in this role at Gatwick.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Porter in hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hygiene, safety and cleanliness per Safeguard regulations.
• Clean heavy catering equipment following instructions.
• Empty bins and segregate waste per regulations.
• Dispose of waste from catering areas to designated compactors.
• Operate industrial dishwashers and glasswashers.
• Transport provisions, equipment and other items as required.
• Maintain a clean working environment with emphasis on hygiene.
• Perform general kitchen cleanliness including deep cleans.

What you'll do

• To ensure that the Company's and statutory regulations regarding hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are complied with and all tasks undertaken according to Safeguard regulations.
• To clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Empty bins and ensure waste is separated as per the regulations
• To dispose of waste materials from catering areas to designated compactors
• To operate industrial dishwashers and glasswashers in all catering areas.
• To transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required.
• To maintain clean working environment at all times, with special regard to hygiene
• General Kitchen cleanliness, including deep cleans
