Job summary

Sodexo Live! at London Stansted Airport Emirates Lounge is seeking an Airport Lounge Chef to lead the presentation and quality of all food and beverage, ensuring standards are met and display follows the set specification.

You will train service staff on presentation, monitor stock and hygiene, and liaise with Emirates and Sodexo teams to ensure smooth lounge operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to present and display food to specification.
• Work with Emirates standards and HACCP hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Present all food and beverage to spec with quality and quantity in check.
• Maintain buffet and stock levels; follow Emirates food guidelines and HACCP.
• Provide training to service staff on food presentation.
• Engage with lounge customers and relay feedback to supervisors and teams.

What you'll do

• Responsible for the presentation of all food and beverage, ensuring quality, quantity are consistently monitored, maintained and display is as per set specification.
• Where possible follow food ratio guidelines set out by Emirates are followed. Ensure buffet and stock levels of all food and beverage items are properly maintained and replenished regularly as required and in accordance with food and safety standards. Control and monitor hygiene standards as per HACCAP.
• Provide training and guidance to service staff on the presentation and display of food
• Interact with Lounge customers to gain feedback on service and product. Communicate finding to Lounge Supervisor / Lounge Manager / Emirates staff in a timely manner. Liaise with Sodexo and Emirates Lounge team for any irregularities and other important information that impact the lounge operations. Communicate product, service and customer issues to Sodexo and Emirates staff, so that corrective action can be taken in a timely manner.
