Job summary

Miiro Hotels in Greater London is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will maintain cleanliness, assist with basic prep, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen porter or similar role is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Good teamwork skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, including washing dishes and equipment.
• Keep work surfaces, floors and kitchen areas clean and sanitised.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation as required.
• Collect and dispose of waste following hygiene procedures.
• Assist with unloading and storing deliveries and stock rotation.
• Ensure chefs have clean equipment and workspaces; support kitchen staff.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Head Chef.
