Job summary

Wilson Vale in London is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team in a permanent role. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a rota between 7am and 11pm to suit business needs at a prestigious law firm in London EC4A 3TW.

You will support our kitchen and hospitality teams with day-to-day operations and events, focusing on cleanliness, equipment washing, and event prep. Flexibility for evenings and events is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and environment.
• Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment.
• Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow health and safety rules.
• Have excellent customer service and social skills.
• Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff.
• Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 6.
• Be willing to participate and enjoy working as part of the team.

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in London EC4A 3TW.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within a prestigious law firm. Your working hours will be on a rota between 7am and 11pm, depending on business needs.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll support our kitchen, pantry and hospitality teams with day-to-day operations and events. Your responsibilities will include washing glasses, plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, keeping work areas tidy and organised, and helping with event preparation and service. You'll need to be flexible and available to work evening shifts and events as required.
