Job summary

Wilson Vale in London is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in London EC4A 3TW. This permanent role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a rota between 7am and 11pm to meet business needs.

You will support our kitchen, pantry and hospitality teams with day-to-day operations and events, keeping areas clean and well organised, and helping with event preparation and service. Flexible for evenings and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen porter or similar role is required.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with cleanliness standards.
• Demonstrates good customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash glasses, plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Keep work areas tidy and organised.
• Assist with event preparation and service.
• Be flexible to work evening shifts and events.

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurantsin LondonEC4A 3TW.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within a prestigious law firm. Your working hours will be on a rota between 7am and 11pm, depending on business needs.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll support our kitchen, pantry and hospitality teams with day-to-day operations and events. Your responsibilities will include washing glasses, plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, keeping work areas tidy and organised, and helping with event preparation and service. You'll need to be flexible and available to work evening shifts and events as required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Have experience working in a similar role and environment
• Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
• Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Have excellent customer service and social skills
• Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
• Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 6
• Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
