Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Kitchen Assistant at Hartpury University & College, Hartpury House, Gloucester, GL19 3BE. The role is 40 hours weekly with weekday and weekend shifts, offering a permanent contract and a competitive hourly rate.

You will deliver food to on-site outlets, carry out washing-up duties, and support both kitchen and FOH teams while maintaining cleanliness and organisation. Full training is provided; previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Customer focused and a strong communicator.
• Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties.

Responsibilities

• Delivering food to outlets on-site.
• Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant.
• Supporting the kitchen and FOH team where possible.
• Ensuring FOH and BOH are clean and tidy.
• Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas.
• Removing waste from waste containers and disposal in the correct external bins.
