Job summary

Masala Zone in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchen operations. The role is full-time (minimum 35 hours/week) with daytimes, evenings and weekends shifts. Training is provided, and knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness is advantageous.

You will help with dishwashing, deliveries, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment, including deep cleaning as required. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety is advantageous.
• Willing to work daytimes, evenings and weekends.
• Background in fast-paced kitchen environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and maintain cleanliness.
• Sort deliveries and rotate stock, including heavy items.
• Assist with general kitchen upkeep and deep cleaning as required.

We are looking for a hard-working Kitchen Porter to work on a pro rata basis, daytimes, evenings and weekends. Full-time only, minimum 35 hours per week.

We provide full on the job training for the right candidate, although knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards is an advantage.

The duties include operating the dishwashing machine, sorting deliveries and stock rotation, which include heavy items and maintaining general kitchen cleanliness and deep cleaning.
