Job summary

Kitchen Porter position at Emirates Lounge Gatwick Airport within Sodexo Live!. You will be responsible for maintaining hygiene, operating dishwashers, and supporting the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

We value flexibility, customer focus and reliability; previous kitchen portering experience is essential. This role offers 35 hours per week and an attractive hourly rate of £13.90, with employee benefits and airport clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that the Company's and statutory regulations regarding hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are complied with and all tasks undertaken according to Safeguard regulations.
• To clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Empty bins and ensure waste is separated as per the regulations
• To dispose of waste materials from catering areas to designated compactors
• To operate industrial dishwashers and glasswashers in all catering areas.
• To transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required.
• To maintain clean working environment at all times, with special regard to hygiene
• General Kitchen cleanliness, including deep cleans
