Cornwallis Care in Callington is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our catering team and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen for residents. This role interacts with residents and requires reliability, a hard-working attitude, and strong cleanliness standards. Full training is provided.

The position is on-site with part-time hours, offering £13.00–£16.25 per hour and DBS support. Benefits include uniform, parking, and weekend/bank holiday enhancements.

Responsabilités

• Clean kitchen areas, surfaces, and equipment thoroughly and regularly.
• Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and cookware.
• Assist in setting up and clearing down the kitchen and dining areas.
• Dispose of kitchen waste safely and in line with hygiene regulations.
• Keep floors, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces tidy and hazard-free.
• Support the catering team with general kitchen duties as needed.
• Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and infection control policies.

Job Purpose

To support the catering team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring all meals are served in a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
