Addison Park Care Home in the Lostwithiel area is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our friendly kitchen team. You will assist the catering supervisor in preparing and delivering meals while maintaining high hygiene standards and supporting resident well-being.

This on-site role is ideal for someone who takes pride in teamwork, helps residents with balanced meals, and thrives in a busy kitchen environment. A 30-hour contract, DBS, uniform and parking are provided.

• Clean kitchen areas and equipment according to work schedules.
• Assist with meal service in the dining areas.
• Tidy up and wash dishes, utensils, and surfaces after meals.
• Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming kitchen and food service environment.

Job Purpose

To assist the catering supervisor in the preparation and delivery of meals and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This role directly contributes to the wellbeing and happiness of our residents by supporting abalanced, nutritious dietand ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and care.
