Job summary

Westernhousehotel in Ayr is seeking a dedicated team member for basic cleaning roles in an award-winning kitchen. You will ensure cleaning tasks are performed efficiently, keeping food preparation areas and surfaces sanitised.

Responsibilities

• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
• Collect and wash up pots and pans.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment.
• Unload food and equipment deliveries.
• Keep the storeroom organised.
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
• Unload food and equipment deliveries.
• Keep the storeroom organised.
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

You MUST be reliable and able to have transport to work at sometimes unsocial hours (earliest start 7am, late finishes sometimes midnight/1am).

This role would also be suitable for a student who wishes to progress in a quality, hospitality environment – shifts can be suited around your studies. Excellent career progression for the right candidate working as part of an award-winning kitchen team.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour. Staff benefits include;
