Job summary

Franco Manca is hiring a Kitchen Manager in London to lead our Delivery Kitchen operation, manage a small team and ensure every pizza meets our quality standards while keeping speed and accuracy.

You will coach staff, handle food prep, stock, labour and health and safety, and work with the operations team to improve processes in a fast-paced delivery environment. 28 days holiday, 20% bonus, pension, health plan, and staff discounts are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a delivery kitchen or high-volume takeaway.
• Strong pizza-making experience and passion for quality.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a small team while maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery Kitchen operation and a small team to deliver high-quality food.
• Ensure pizzas are prepared to Franco Manca standards with speed and consistency.
• Coach and develop staff, fostering a positive team culture.
• Oversee food prep, stock control, ordering, labour, hygiene and health & safety.
• Be hands-on during peak periods and look for efficiency improvements.
• Address day-to-day challenges and keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain an organised kitchen capable of fast-paced delivery demands.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve processes and performance.

What You’ll Do

• As Kitchen Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our Delivery Kitchen operation, leading a small team to deliver exceptional food quality and operational performance.
• You'll take charge of the kitchen, ensuring every pizza is prepared to our high standards while maintaining speed, consistency and accuracy across every order.
• Inspire, coach and develop a small team, creating a positive and supportive culture where people can thrive.
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, stock control, ordering, labour management, hygiene and health & safety.
• Be hands-on, whether you're making pizzas, supporting your team during busy periods or finding ways to improve efficiency and performance.
• Take ownership of day-to-day challenges and proactively solve problems to keep the operation running smoothly.
• Ensure the kitchen is organised, effective and prepared to meet the demands of a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Work closely with the Operations team to continually improve processes, standards and performance.

What You’ll Bring

• We're looking for a Kitchen Manager who knows their way around a kitchen and has a genuine passion for great pizza and food quality.
• You'll have previous experience leading a kitchen team in a Delivery Kitchen, delivery-focused kitchen or high-volume takeaway environment.
• Strong pizza-making experience is essential.
• You'll be comfortable leading and developing a small team of chefs.
• Be highly organised, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently at all times.
• Have a proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to identify challenges and take ownership of resolving them.
• Lead by example, creating a positive, supportive atmosphere within the team.
• Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining Franco Manca's quality standards.
• Possess strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and health & safety compliance.
