Job summary

Franco Manca in Greater London is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef to lead the kitchen, craft every pizza with care, and support the team to deliver the best service.

You will prepare and cook our sourdough pizzas to perfection, mentor juniors, manage dough prep and stock, and maintain high standards of quality, hygiene and pace during busy shifts. Franco Manca offers development via the Franco Academy and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pizza chef or in a professional kitchen.
• Experience handling fresh dough and working with a wood-fired oven.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen as Senior Pizza Chef and guide the team to deliver the best service.
• Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection.
• Support the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency and hygiene.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Oversee dough preparation, toppings, and wood-oven firing.
• Maintain composure and efficiency during busy shifts.
• Take responsibility for stock management and food prep for service.
