Job summary

TGI Fridays UK is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team and deliver our guest-obsessed, real-food experience on every shift.

You will oversee all kitchen operations, drive performance, manage people and costs, ensure safety and quality, and inspire the brigade to meet targets while championing our ShowTime service.

This is a 48-hour contract with a competitive salary plus benefits, including 30 days holiday, private medical care and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering in a kitchen environment.
• Restaurant / hospitality experience.

Being a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef

Key Responsibilities

• To lead and inspire the performance of the kitchen team. Full responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operation and performance. This includes People, Guest, Sales, Profit, Operations, Health & Safety and Property.
• To ensure that TGI Fridays standards are maintained, and the kitchen performance delivers its targets through a People First, Guest Obsessed, Operational Excellence Strategy.

About You

• Solid experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading and delivering.
• The ability to demonstrate the delivery of a guest obsessed culture.
• Restaurant / hospitality experience
• Proven track record of leading teams to success
• Strong financial skills and be able to comfortably manage all audits and due diligence.
• The ability and skill to manage budgets, labourcontrolsand forecasting.
• Strong commercial acumen that enables you to drive sales and deliver business results.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think fast.
• Great communication skills that allow you to lead and inspire a team and delight our guests.
