The Landmark London invites you to join our Kitchen Department as a Kitchen Intern on a fixed-term basis with an immediate start. We value positive energy, diversity, and team collaboration to deliver memorable five-star service to our guests.

You'll gain hands-on experience in mise-en-place and service, with development plans and world-class management programmes to support your growth within the property. Eligible to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

Work independently and as part of a team, preparing mise-en-place and service for the section/department.
Carry out tasks as directed by supervisor/manager and assist other kitchen areas when requested.
Know what fresh food is in stock and check fridges/freezers in your section.
Promote good communication within the department and provide clear handovers.
Learn duties in your section and seek feedback to improve.

We are currently looking for a passionate Intern, to join our Kitchen Department on a fixed-term basis, with an immediate start to consistently deliver memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and each other. As an Intern, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:

To work as an individual and as part of a team by taking ownership for the correct preparation of mise-en-place and service for the section / department.
To carry out all tasks as directed by your immediate supervisor/ manager and to assist in any other areas or duties within the kitchen/ hotel upon request.
Have an understanding of what fresh food is in stock within the section you are working on by checking applicable fridges and freezers.
To promote good communication within the department and proactively leave clear handover for any colleagues taking over the section.
To proactively learn the duties within a section as you work in the sections. To seek feedback on your performance in order to reflect on areas where you can improve

You will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
