Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Kitchen Fitter for social housing maintenance across North Cornwall, from Bodmin to Bude. The role is initially temp/self-employed with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

You will carry out planned maintenance and full kitchen installations (rip-out and reinstall, tiling, flooring, units) and work alongside other trades, with travel between jobs and reporting to the supervisor. DBS required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience fitting kitchens.
• Good attitude.
• Honest and reliable.
• Full UK driving license.
• Manual handling, working at heights and asbestos awareness certificates (courses can be arranged at cost).
• DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Planned maintenance work in social housing properties.
• Fitting full kitchens – rip-out and reinstall, tiling, flooring, units, etc.
• Working alongside other trades (electrician, labourer, etc).
• Travelling to various jobs in North Cornwall.
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress.

Great opportunity with a busy and highly regarded maintenance contractor.

This is initially a temp/ self employed role which could lead to a job on the books for the right person if desired.

Kitchen Fitter Day to Day:

• Planned maintenance work in social housing properties
• Fitting full kitchens - including rip out and reinstall all aspects, tiling, flooring, units etc
• Working alongside other trades, electrician, labourer etc
• Travelling to various jobs in North Cornwall
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress

Kitchen Fitter Requirements:

• Extensive experience fitting kitchens
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Full UK driving license

You will need to have manual handling, working at heights and asbestos awareness certificates. If you do not have these we can put you through the courses at your cost and you keep the certificates.

Successful candidate will need to have a DBS check.
