Job summary

Vintage.com in Morley (Leeds) is seeking a Facilities Operative to maintain a safe, welcoming kitchen and canteen. You will prepare, serve and help keep areas clean, while supporting the Kitchen Team Leader and Facilities team to ensure smooth service and high standards of hygiene.

The role emphasises hands-on kitchen work, with a late shift from 2pm to 10pm and a salary of £26,250 per year. Based at our Leeds sites, you will help create a positive colleague experience through friendly, reliable

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen, canteen, café or hands-on environment with hygiene and service standards.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping prep and service areas clean and organised.
• Organised and proactive with ability to prioritise tasks throughout the day.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, cleaning and safety procedures consistently.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, cooking and serving of food in line with planned menus and food safety requirements.
• Set up kitchen and serving areas ready for service, ensuring food, equipment and supplies are in place.
• Serve food to colleagues in a friendly, helpful and efficient way during busy periods.
• Keep hot and cold food at correct temperatures and replenish service items throughout the day.
• Identify and report hazards or food safety concerns promptly to minimise disruption.
