Job summary

Vintage Cash Cow seeks a Facilities Operative (Kitchen) to join our Facilities Management team in Morley. The role focuses on keeping the workplace kitchen and canteen clean, safe and well organised while supporting food preparation and service.

You’ll work with the Kitchen Team Leader and colleagues to maintain high hygiene standards, label and rotate stock, and contribute to a positive colleague experience during shifts from 2pm to 10pm, with a late-shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen, canteen, café, catering or similar environment with emphasis on hygiene and service standards.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping prep and service areas clean and safe.
• Ability to organise and prioritise tasks during busy service times.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, cooking and serving of food in line with menus and food safety requirements.
• Set up kitchen and serving areas for service, ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Serve food to colleagues in a friendly, efficient manner during busy periods.
• Maintain correct temperatures for hot and cold foods and replenish items as needed.
• Keep kitchen and dining spaces clean, hygienic and ready for use throughout the day.
