Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment is seeking a Kitchen Extraction Technician to work predominantly at night across the West Midlands. The role involves cleaning, maintenance and inspection of extraction systems in restaurants, pubs, hotels, and other commercial premises.

Full-time, temp to perm with opportunities for progression and development. The position requires a hardworking, practical candidate who is comfortable with manual work, heights, and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen extraction cleaning or related fields is advantageous.
• Full training provided for the right candidate.
• Physically able to perform manual cleaning tasks at height.

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen extraction and grease duct systems.
• Clean canopies, filters, fans and extraction equipment.
• Carry out cleaning and inspection at client sites.
• Take before-and-after photos of completed work.
• Complete cleaning and inspection records accurately.
• Report defects, access issues and safety concerns.
• Travel between customer sites as required.
• Maintain equipment and company vehicles.

WE’RE HIRING – KITCHEN EXTRACTION TECHNICIAN

Location: West Midlands
Salary: From £28,000 per annum
Employment: Full-time, temp to perm.
Working pattern: Predominantly night shifts

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to join our growing team as a Kitchen Extraction Technician.

The role involves working mainly at night, when commercial kitchens are closed, carrying out cleaning, maintenance and inspection work on extraction systems across restaurants, pubs, hotels, care homes and other commercial premises.

THE ROLE INCLUDES

• Commercial kitchen extraction and grease duct cleaning
• Cleaning kitchen canopies, filters, fans and extraction equipment
• Working safely at height where required
• Using professional cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Completing cleaning and inspection records
• Taking before-and-after photographs of completed work
• Reporting defects, access issues and safety concerns
• Maintaining equipment and company vehicles
• Working as part of a two-person team
• Representing the company professionally at customer sites

However, experience is not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
