Layka Recruitment Ltd. seeks an experienced Design & Sales Consultant for kitchen and bedroom projects across Surrey, Bucks and Berks. You will visit customers at their homes and showrooms, providing accurate quotations and attractive designs ready to order.

Role requires strong communication, time management, and a proactive approach. You must manage workload, meet deadlines, and have a full UK driving licence with own car; CAD/Articad experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Kitchen Design & Sales Consultant with a proactive approach.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and rapport building.
• Technical knowledge of installations for accurate quotes and design visuals.
• Experience with CAD/Articad preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design consultations at customers' homes and in showrooms with plans.
• Take accurate measurements during site surveys.
• Capture full briefing including budget and notes.
• Produce accurate estimates and visually appealing designs for orders.
• Prepare Project Packs for Operations team with detail.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and liaise with suppliers.
• Provide showroom support and flexible hours including evenings.
• Generate new leads and ensure pricing achieves margins.
• Communicate with installers during installation as required.
• Involve in lead generation and customer service on sold projects.
• Aim to hit annual sales target of 1 million ex VAT.
• Work hours 9–5 Mon-Sat with rota-based weekday off; Saturdays often required.
