Job summary

Avon Court Care Home in Chippenham is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. This hands-on role involves food preparation, stock handling and assisting with deliveries under the direction of the Chef.

The role offers a consistent routine in a supportive environment, with DBS, pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach required.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
