Job summary

Care Dorset Ltd in Weymouth is hiring a part-time role (22 hours) to assist the Cook Manager in delivering nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs in a clean, safe kitchen. You will help maintain infection control and ensure a welcoming environment for clients, staff and visitors.

The role also supports safeguarding of clients and contributes to the company’s values of integrity and people-focused care. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or care settings is beneficial.
• Ability to follow hygiene and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cook Manager in providing nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are prepared in a clean and safe environment according to hygiene policies.
• Create a welcoming environment for clients, staff and visitors and uphold Care Dorset’s reputation.

• Supporting the Cook Manager in the provision of a range of nutritious meals which takeaccount of specific dietary requirements
• Ensuring meals are prepared in a clean and safe environment, ensuring infection controland hygiene policies and procedures are followed

This is a part time position, 22hrs, flexible shifts
