Job summary

Care Dorset Ltd in Blandford Forum is seeking a compassionate part-time care assistant to support the Cook Manager in preparing nutritious meals that meet dietary needs, and to help maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

You will help create a welcoming environment for clients, staff and visitors, contribute to safeguarding, and uphold Care Dorset’s values. The role involves 26.5 hours weekly with weekend shifts and no relocation package.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Cook Manager in the provision of a range of nutritious meals.
• Ensuring meals are prepared in a clean and safe environment, infection control and hygiene policies followed.
• Providing a welcoming environment for clients, staff and visitors, maintaining Care Dorset’s reputation.

• Supporting the Cook Manager in the provision of a range of nutritious meals which takeaccount of specific dietary requirements
• Ensuring meals are prepared in a clean and safe environment, ensuring infection controland hygiene policies and procedures are followed
• Ensuring that a welcoming environment is provided for clients, staff and visitors,maintaining Care Dorset’s reputation
• Contributing to safeguarding the welfare of clients
  

This position is 26.5hrs and involves shift work and alternate weekends.

There is no relocation package so applicants must reside within a commutable distance.
