Job summary

Care Dorset Ltd in Weymouth is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred support within our residential setting. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and daily living tasks while promoting dignity and independence for clients.

This is a full-time role to include alternate weekends, with generous annual leave and a strong commitment to training and progression. We offer enhanced maternity pay, sick pay from day one, employee discounts, and access to development

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
• You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework
