Job summary

Bupa Hatfield Peverel Lodge Care Home is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our caring team. You will support the main kitchen, plate meals, and help deliver a delicious, nutritious dining experience for residents in a dementia-friendly environment.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, four days per week with alternate weekends. We offer a range of benefits and a focus on helping people live healthier lives.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs to plate meals and prepare food trolleys.
• Ensure preparation areas are clean and tidy in line with COSHH/HACCP.
• Monitor stock rotation and assist with event catering.
• Provide excellent dining experience for residents.
