Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is seeking Kitchen Assistants to support our restaurants across UK stores, delivering tasty meals while maintaining high hygiene and operational standards.

You will join a friendly kitchen team, preparing and presenting dishes to spec, learning dietary requirements, and ensuring meals are served on time. Prior food service experience is helpful. A welcoming, supportive environment with training is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service role is preferred.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Willingness to learn and develop kitchen skills.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification.
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties.
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure meals are presented to a high standard and on time.
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety.
• Being a team player and confident communicator eager to learn new skills and gain experience.
• Flourish in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Experience of working in food service.
• Knowledge and understanding of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.
