Job summary

Lyndon Hall Care Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will support food preparation, keep the kitchen tidy, and assist with deliveries and stock management alongside the Chef and team.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock.
• Work closely with the Chef and wider team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
