Job summary

Clarence Park Care Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in a specialist complex care setting. You will help with food preparation and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, while accommodating dietary needs.

Key duties include assisting with deliveries, storage, and kitchen organisation, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running and a positive dining experience for residents. Training and development within a care environment are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety practices.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
• A reliable, hardworking and positive approach.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a care environment.
