Welford Healthcare is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant for a bank shift at Radbrook Nursing Home in Shrewsbury. You will work with the Chef to prepare and deliver meals while ensuring residents’ dietary requirements are met.

Location: Radbrook Nursing Home, Radbrook, Shrewsbury, SY3 6AL

Our team at are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents dietary requirements are met.

Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant:

As a Kitchen Assistant; you will be taking an active role in supporting the Chef with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents. As well as preparing fresh ingredients for various meals, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to both Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary standards of the home.
