Job summary

Welford Healthcare is hiring a Kitchen Assistant at The Westbury Care Home in Wiltshire. You will work with the Chef to prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring dietary requirements are met and meals are prepared to high standards.

The role offers full-time and part-time hours with alternating weekends, on-site work at BA13 3PR. Experienced or not, you will receive induction and ongoing training as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Previous health care experience is not essential but may help.
• Caring and compassionate nature is important.
• Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Kitchen Assistant

Hours: Full Time / Part Time hours (Working alternate weekends)

Location: The Westbury Care Home, Wiltshire,Warminster Road, Westbury, Wiltshire, BA13 3PR

Our team at are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents dietary requirements are met.

Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant:

As a Kitchen Assistant; you will be taking an active role in supporting the Chef with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents. As well as preparing fresh ingredients for various meals, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to both Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary standards of the home.

Responsibilities:
