Job summary

Ivy Lodge Care Limited is recruiting a friendly Kitchen Assistant to support daily meal preparation for residents at Ivy Lodge, Haxby. The role focuses on preparing fresh ingredients, serving meals, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen in line with health and safety standards.

Kitchen Assistant

Hours: 25 Hours per week

Our team at are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents dietary requirements are met.

Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant:

As a Kitchen Assistant; you will be taking an active role in supporting the team with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents. As well as preparing fresh ingredients for various meals, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to both Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary standards of the home.

Desirable Skills and Experience of the Kitchen Assistant:
