Job summary

St Philip's Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Cook at Ravendale Hall Care Centre. You will help prepare and serve meals, keep dining areas ready for service, and ensure high hygiene standards are maintained across kitchen operations.

You will participate in mandatory training, adhere to COSHH guidelines, and contribute to a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred.
• Ability to prepare and serve meals and beverages.
• Maintain high hygiene standards.
• Work with Cook and Care Centre Manager.
• Attend mandatory in-house training.
• Understand COSHH guidelines.

Kitchen Assistant Bank - Ravendale Hall Care Centre

We are recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our established and friendly team to support the cook and provide the highest quality meals for our residents.

• To accept reasonable duties as delegated by the Cook/Assistant Cook
• To assist with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages as required.
• To prepare the dining room for the serving of meals.
• To clear tables and ensure all crockery and cutlery are washed put away.
• To work in accordance with the homes policies.
• To carry out kitchen duties ensuring a high standard of hygiene at all times. To use resources effectively.
