Thomas Franks is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for one of our Taunton locations. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, using fresh seasonal ingredients and assisting chefs with food preparation. A focus on great service and adhering to brand standards is essential.

You will join a supportive team with opportunities to learn, develop, and progress within a leading independent contract caterer. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service
• An all-round team player
• Innovation and passion for great food
• An organised Kitchen Assistant with attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred

Responsabilités

• To work well in a team, providing food and a great service
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep

One of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Here we cater for a number of different events through the year ranging from corporate and private meeting & events to the absolutely enthralling match days over the course of the year. With a variety of Food & Beverage outlets to choose from, it is an outstanding venue that offers attendees a fun day out.

We are looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in Taunton.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities

• To work well in a team, providing food and a great service
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
