Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for St James’ Park Care Home. You will support the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, organized kitchen and collaborate with the Chef to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

The role offers a consistent routine, paid Enhanced DBS, uniform, pension, and a generous 5.6 weeks annual leave for a full-time contract. Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential, with opportunities for development within a

St James' Park Care Home is a 31 bed care home located in the charming village of Bradpole, near Bridport in Dorset. Providing residential and nursing care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Kitchen Assistant

• £13.45 - £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 38 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organization. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
