Job summary

The Botanist Sunderland is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to help keep a busy kitchen running smoothly. You’ll maintain hygiene, prepare food batches and support chefs with essential kitchen tasks on shift.

We’re looking for people with a strong work ethic who enjoy teamwork. Previous food preparation helps, but isn’t essential as full training is provided. Benefits include 50% staff discount across venues, free meals on shift, birthday off, earned wage access and education subsidies.

We're looking for Kitchen Assistants who take pride in keeping things organised, clean and running smoothly. You play an important role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently by maintaining hygiene standards, preparing food batches, and supporting chefs with essential kitchen tasks.

You work closely with the chefs on shift to ensure the kitchen remains well organised, equipment is clean and ready for use, and ingredients are prepared according to spec.

What You'll Be Doing:
