Job summary

The Botanist Edinburgh is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help keep the kitchen organised and running smoothly. You will maintain hygiene, assist in food prep and support chefs during service as part of a busy kitchen team.

We welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn; previous food prep experience is helpful but not essential. Great hospitality culture and training provided at The New World Trading Company venues.

The Botanist Edinburgh are hiring a Kitchen Assistant!

We're looking for Kitchen Assistants who take pride in keeping things organised, clean and running smoothly. You play an important role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently by maintaining hygiene standards, preparing food batches, and supporting chefs with essential kitchen tasks.

You work closely with the chefs on shift to ensure the kitchen remains well organised, equipment is clean and ready for use, and ingredients are prepared according to spec.

What You'll Be Doing:
