The Fleet Care Home in Dartmouth, Devon, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support high quality meal service in a clean, safe kitchen. You will help with food preparation, storage and deliveries, working closely with the Chef and team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
The role offers a reliable 36-hour week, paid DBS, pension and uniform, and 5.6 weeks of annual leave. Weekend work on alternate weekends is required.
Our care home, nestled in the picturesque town of Dartmouth in Devon, provides exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 79 residents, offering a serene and supportive environment where quality care meets coastal charm.
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
