Artemis Venue Services Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to be based at The Pear Tree in Purton, Wiltshire. The role requires a passion for good food, calmness under pressure and the ability to work in a small team. Previous wedding/conference kitchen experience is preferred and 100+ covers experience is valued.

The position is full-time, permanent, and offers a base salary of £26,436.80 plus overtime. Candidates must have own transport and be eligible to work in the UK.

Some commercial kitchen experience is required.
Kitchen experience: 1 year (required).

Responsibilities

Report to the Chef / Manager on duty.
Operate automated dishwasher.
Hand wash and sanitise large kitchen prep items.
Clean kitchen equipment and surfaces.
Assist with some food preparation.
H&S and Food Hygiene training will be provided.

Artemis are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant based at The Pear Tree, the successful candidate must be self-motivated, have a passion for good food and service, calm under pressure and be able to work in a small team. Experience in weddings and conferences, 100+ covers, fine dining, together with a strong background in food led establishments.

Salary

£26,436.80 + overtime
