• Good communication skills; understanding of HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to maintain high standards of food preparation and service.

• Report to Head Chef/Sous Chef and respond to emails.
• Use Checkit for kitchen management (training provided).

Artemis are looking for a Commis chef to join our team at our Bassmead Manor Barns Wedding venue in the Bedfordshire countryside.

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivation, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. A genuine passion for producing high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients is essential.

The must haves-

• 1 years’ experience in a similar position.
• A passion for cooking.
• A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
• Good Communication skills, with an understanding of HACCP.
• Own transport is essential due to the location.
• Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK

What will my responsibilities include?

• Working as part of the team to ensure high standards of food preparation and service are kept. Maintaining a clean environment.
• To follow our allergens policy and kitchen management package. (Full training given).
• Day to day reporting to the Head chef/Sous chef. Responding to emails.
• Using Checkit (full training given).
