Job summary

Artemis Venue Services Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to be based at The Pear Tree in Purton, Wiltshire. The role requires a passion for good food, calmness under pressure and the ability to work in a small team. Previous wedding/conference kitchen experience is preferred and 100+ covers experience is valued.

The position is full-time, permanent, and offers a base salary of £26,436.80 plus overtime. Candidates must have own transport and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Own transport is essential due to the remote location.
• Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK.
• Some commercial kitchen experience is required.
• Kitchen experience: 1 year (required).

Responsibilities

• Report to the Chef / Manager on duty.
• Operate automated dishwasher.
• Hand wash and sanitise large kitchen prep items.
• Clean kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Assist with some food preparation.
• H&S and Food Hygiene training will be provided.
