Job summary

Artemis Venue Services Ltd at The Pear Tree in Purton, Wiltshire, seeks a Kitchen Assistant to join a small team in a busy, high-end setting. Salary is £26,436.80 per year with overtime, at a remote-location venue serving weddings and events. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with start date 09/09/2026.

Applicants should have 1 year of kitchen experience, own transport due to remote location, and eligibility to work full-time in the UK. Training in food hygiene and safety will be provided.

Artemis are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant based at The Pear Tree, the successful candidate must be self-motivated, have a passion for good food and service, calm under pressure and be able to work in a small team. Experience in weddings and conferences, 100+ covers, fine dining, together with a strong background in food led establishments.

Requirements

• Own transport is essential due to the remote location
• Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK
• Some commercial kitchen experience
