Artemis is seeking a passionate Kitchen Assistant at The Pear Tree, Purton. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, enjoy good food and service, stay calm under pressure, and work well in a small team. Experience in weddings, conferences, 100+ covers, and fine dining is preferred.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a start date of 09/09/2026 and a salary of £26,436.80 plus overtime. Own transport is essential due to the remote location.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience: 1 year minimum in a high-standard setting.
• Own transport due to remote location is essential.
• Eligible to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Chef/Manager on duty.
• Operate automated dishwasher.
• Hand wash and sanitise large kitchen prep items.
• Clean kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Some food preparation.
• H&S and Food Hygiene training will be given.
