Job summary

Hartford Care's Victoria Lodge Care Home in Brierley Hill is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant for a part-time role (24 hours per week), including alternate weekend work. You will help prepare nutritious meals in a hygienic kitchen and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

You will work as part of a friendly team, assist with meal preparation, serving residents, and keeping the kitchen clean and well organised.

Job description

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting in the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions while being aware of and act in accordance with current food laws and regulations, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing vegetables for a curry night, delivering a resident’s breakfast to their room, washing up after the lunch period, or assisting residents with a baking morning you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
