Sight Scotland Veterans at the Hawkhead Centre is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our Centre Services Manager and Chef in preparing nutritious meals and maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment.
You will assist with food preparation, meal service and washing up, while ensuring Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards are followed. A friendly, supportive team welcomes you to help veterans with sight loss enjoy varied meals.
At the Hawkhead centre, we provide innovative services to veterans who have various degrees of Sight Loss.This job exists to support the Centre Services Manager/Senior and Chef to provide a safe working environment and plan a varied and nutritious diet for veterans who attend.You will work be working in a fun and friendly environment.
