Job summary

Etive House Care Home, located near Oban in Scotland, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the team and help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen.

The role is 39.33 hours per week, paid at £12.71 per hour. Benefits include PVG, pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks of annual leave based on a full-time contract. You will work closely with the Chef and wider team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Located in the beautiful village of Benderloch by Oban, we offer small group living accommodation for up to 62-residents.

5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment.

This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation.

Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
