Job summary

Agincare Group on Hayling Island is seeking a reliable and organised Kitchen Assistant to join our Gorseway care home team. You will help prepare nutritious meals for residents and contribute to a dining experience that is warm, welcoming and enjoyable.

You don’t need a care background, but a passion for food and strong hygiene standards are essential. This role offers 30 hours per week, with shifts across early and late ranges and flexible rota.

Responsibilities

• Support the chef to prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks.

Join the Agincare family as a Kitchen Assistant at our Gorseway care home. You’ll play an important part in preparing nutritious, delicious meals that our residents can look forward to, helping to make mealtimes enjoyable, comforting and something to look forward to.

• Kitchen Assistant to work 30 hours per week - each shift is 10 hours long, there are 3 shifts a week to include working alternative weekends
• Bank Kitchen Assistant - this is a zero hour contract
• Combination of shift times; 7.30am - 5.30pm and 9.30am - 7.30pm
• No set shifts, flexible rota
• A positive, team-focused attitude

Your role:
