Our brand-new, luxury service is set in the small village of Crow, which is very close to Ringwood. We provide quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 72-residents.

We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant with the flexibility and skills to step in as a Relief Chef when required. This dual role is essential in supporting our culinary team to ensure the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

What You’ll Do

• Food Preparation: Assist in preparing meals and snacks, ensuring efficiency and high standards. Step in as the chef to manage meal preparation and kitchen operations when needed.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including equipment, appliances, and surfaces.
• Delivery Handling: Receive, check, and safely store kitchen deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stored.
• Menu Execution: Prepare meals according to set menus and dietary requirements when covering for the chef, ensuring variety and quality.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety and health regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the chef and other kitchen staff to ensure a seamless operation, including adapting to the needs of residents.
• Resident Engagement: Help create a positive dining experience by understanding and catering to residents’ preferences and dietary needs.
